Dr. Michael Rosenbaum

Dr. Rosenbaum received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Georgia State University in 1979.  Following his residency in clinical psychology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, he accepted a person as Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of South Alabama from 1979 to 1983.

Dr. Rosenbaum opened his private practice in clinical psychology for adults, adolescents, and children in 1984.  He completed the Associate Fellowship and Certified Supervisory programs through the Albert Ellis Institute for Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy in 1991.  In 1998, Dr. Rosenbaum received the Certificate of Professional Qualification in Psychology through the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards.  He was awarded the Diplomate in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy by the National Association of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapists in 1999.

Dr. Rosenbaum's private practice is focused on providing problem solving and skill building for adults, adolescents, and children in individual, group, family, and couples sessions.  He assists clients in making life pattern changes with respect to relationships, parenting, depression, anger control, anxiety, and stress management.
